Name: Susan Ray
Where you are from: Worthington, Ohio
Your Story: (How you got to RiverTree): My husband, Larry, and I have moved around the country 13 times. Since attending Rick Warren's Saddleback Church in Southern California in the 80's, we have always sought a church with a contemporary service and worship. As we searched, God kept leading us to small, start up churches that wanted to follow the Saddleback model. At each one we became heavily involved in Kingdom work. When we came to the Canton area in 2001, Larry's administrative assistant (although not an attender) told us about RiverTree. It wasn't a small, start up church, but it did have a contemporary service and worship. And...God kept us around long enough to lead us to the Hartville Campus which is five minutes from our home.
What you do at RiverTree: I am the TreeHouse Kidz Director at the Hartville Campus.
