Name: Darby Murphy
Where you are from: Massillon
Your Story: (How you got to RiverTree): I was raised predominately Catholic and my wife was raised Baptist. We had tried a few churches but nothing seemed to really fit. We had virtually stopped going to service anywhere. My wife had heard about RiverTree and said we ought to try it out, in fact she decided she was going with or without me. We came once and felt like we had come back home. We spoke on the way home from service about our excitement to get back the following week. It was one of the most overwhelming feelings I have ever experienced, and to this day RiverTree has been our home. My relationship with the Father was re-ignited by RiverTree and burns bright to this day.
What you do at RiverTree: I try to do whatever I can do to help out. I served in Treehouse Kids for about five years, it was a huge blessing. I have been a Thrive Group leader and now lead the Thrive ministry at the Massillon Campus. I also have the opportunity to work with Pastor Schuler quite a bit.
Family: I have been married for 16 years to my beautiful wife Traci and have two sons; Brandon, 14 years old, and Bradley, 11 years old.
Favorite Sports Team: Pittsburgh Steelers, (Buckeye Football is a close second)
Favorite Movie: Field of Dreams / Remember the Titans (toss up)

Little Known Fact: Contrary to popular belief I did NOT have a mullet in my wedding pictures.
