DIVORCE CARE
Everyone who goes through a divorce experiences feeling angry, bitter, sad, depressed, unloved, unwanted ... Through Divorce Care you will find it is ok and normal to feel this way. Divorce Care will help you deal with these and other issues in a safe, caring Christ-centered environment. You will find that your Christian family is there to pick us up and send us back out in to the world.
CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
The Cancer Support Group is an encouragement ministry designed to assist individuals that have been diagnosed with cancer. Family members and friends are welcome to attend meetings at any time. The group is comprised of members who have personally experienced the trials and challenges of cancer. The group encourages the study of the Bible to find refuge in the Word, prays for healing, comfort and relief of every day challenges, provides peer assistance through group meetings, speakers and one on one mentoring. The group functions with strict confidentiality guidelines. The group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening of every month at 7:00 PM in room 202 at the Portage campus. Please call Rhonda Warren at 330-498-9747 or Mike Kerr at 330-966-5377 for information or assistance.
"TREASURED FRIENDS"
Are you looking for a place that will offer you the opportunity to build close friendships with other women? "Treasured Friends" is the perfect place for you! We desire to help women build friendships through the power of encouragement and prayer.
"Treasured Friends" is an encouragement ministry for women. It is our goal to help women become spiritually equipped to handle life situations through biblically-based teachings; personal testimonies; and prayer. We provide a place where women can develop Christian relationships with other women and learn how to come alongside each other and give and receive encouragement. Each meeting consists of a brief teaching/testimony time after which we break into small prayer circles for personal prayer time. Between meetings, members are asked to pray for and encourage (through our card ministry) at least one other member of their small prayer circle.
Meetings: 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month
from 7 PM to 9 PM in Room 200A.

GREATER HEALTH GOD'S WAY
7 Steps to Inner and Outer Beauty
Do traditional diet and exercise programs leave you feeling unsatisfied? That's because they don't help you nurture your mind, body, and soul! Join us as we study Stormie Omartian's seven steps to greater health---including peaceful living, proper exercise, prayer and fasting, perfect rest, and healthy food---so you can develop the discipline to be a strong, vital, ministering person. Our purpose is to encourage each other to learn to eat properly and be physically active [according to doctor's guidelines]. We want to be more of what God wants for us and not what the world encourages us to be. If interested, sign ups taken in the Atrium.

Sundays at 11:00 a.m. in Room 203
The death of a loved one means many life changes and can bring about intense emotional and physical pain. Adjusting to such a loss is not just a matter of time. Help is often found in sharing and expressing one’s feelings, concerns and experiences with others who have had like experiences and understand the impact of loss. “Grief’s Journey” is a grief support group open to anyone in the church or surrounding community who has experienced the death of a loved one. If you should have any questions, please contact Bruce Reese at 330.626.4990.
